Leo Scala Logic 2008 - Golden Natural

Up for sale is a rare and historic piece of boutique guitar history: a Leo Scala “Logic”, built in 2008 during his time at the Kramer Custom Shop. This is the swamp ash body variant in a stunning natural nitro finish with subtle crazing, handcrafted and signed by Scala himself. With its unique pickup configuration, top-shelf hardware, and connection to one of today’s most respected master luthiers, this guitar is as collectible as it is playable. Specifications: Model: Logic (Swamp Ash) Year: 2008 Body: One-piece swamp ash, natural nitrocellulose finish Neck: Maple w/ Rosewood fretboard, dot inlays Pickups: 3x DiMarzio blade pickups (middle pickup reversed, mounted near bridge for unique tonal character) Bridge: Hipshot tremolo with arm Tuners: Gotoh Controls: Volume, Tone, 3-way toggle, recessed output jack Strap Pins: Dunlop recessed strap locks (strap portion included) Comes with Hardshell Case Here is some more important information: Please read entire listing to understand the guitar fully. Leo Scala Logic guitar built in 2008 when Scala worked in the U.S. Kramer Custom Shop (this is after Gibson purchased Kramer - please do your own due diligence on Kramer history). I am getting some details from previous listings on Reverb (you can find them by searching on Google). I am trying to present all information as accurate as possible. Leo Scala now builds Gibson Custom Shop guitars that sometimes list for more than $50k. This guitar is extremely resonant acoustically - as resonant as one Lentz I owned (I have owned over 300 guitars - this and the Lentz being the most resonant of all). First time with these pickups, and I love them. Very sonically pleasing clean or dirty. To my ear they sound like original Joe Bardens. Ergonomically comfortable due to the contours and light body. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard and vintage tele style finish look. The neck is from another Scala Logic that was swapped (text in bold italics below from previous listing). Paperwork from photos not included with the sale (I dont have it). Last photo is from the Scala the neck came from (previous owner swapped). This is a very early (2008), one of a kind custom guitar from Leo Scala when he worked at the Kramer custom shop. Swamp ash body with beautiful crazing from the nitrocellulose. Hipshot bridge with tremolo arm. Signed by Leo on the back of the neck (to the original owner Rob DeFisher, as also seen on the paperwork photos ). Of course his signature logo is on the front. Gotoh tuners. Dimarzio pickups (how cool is the middle pup specifically ordered upside down to be place directly near the bridge pup!). Youd be hard pressed to find a Scala guitar in this price range. Hes currently doing Gibson Custom Shop one offs, some which are selling for $60000.
