Stands 15HH Catfish has mostly been rode outside and used on the ranch in Montana but he knows his way around the arena as well. We hauled him down here to TX and have been using him here, so he has seen some country in his young life! Rides out great alone. Cross water, mud, downfall you name it. He is Athletic & great on his feet. Smooth in all his gaits. Stands well for the farrier, has had 1 set of shoes. NO buck, catfish has sat for a month or two previously and rode off like a gentleman, no funny business. Has roped a few cattle outside in the pasture. Started tracking calves in the arena. He will track on a loose rein & has been slowly started in the box, the right way. Rides one handed. Really starting to get a nice stop and wants to use his hind end. Knows the word Woah.. Open gates on him, fish from his back even! Calm with no spook on trails. Walks out great alone, not the type you have to pedal all day. Ties, saddles, loads great. All around a great using size gelding that is ready to go to work for you! NO scars or bumps, great BLACK feet, 100% SOUND and has always been sound. Catfish is a coming 4yr old but he rides and acts like he is 10.
