We are a local sheet metal shop here in Albuquerque. Awesome atmosphere with a good group of guys to work with. Mostly inside. No experience necessary but you do need math,( be able to use a tape measure), have decent verbal skills for the future, and lift material for a full day. We will teach you everything else. The verbal skills is because we are a small shop you will eventually answerer the phone and take orders in person. We do get paid weekly after the first week. Shop is open from 6:45 am to 4:45 pm m-f. All Overtime is paid time and a half. Vacation and sick days after a year. We do work late and on weekends depending on workload. That is where OT really pays off. Its 14 to start but you will make more as you learn and the OT definitely makes a difference on pay. In saying that, we start at 14 to see what you know and if you are capable of learning the rest of the trade. Pay raises do come as you learn different skills here at the shop.
