1988 Gibson RB-250 Mastertone Banjo with HSC

Here is a great sounding and easy playing 1988 Gibson RB-250 Mastertone 5 string banjo with a nice TKL hard shell case. This is technically a Greg Rich gibson-era banjo, Greg started in 1987. All Nashville factory condition with the exception of a wagon wheel logo Remo USA head,Sullivan 5/8 Crowe spaced bridge and new Diaddario EJ60SS strings, the same gauge as a GHS JD Crowe studio set. This the second one of these that I have owned, it does have a rosewood factory fingerboard, and a three-ply rim, and all Sullivan or Stewart McDonald parts whoever was supplying Gibson in the latter part of 1987 and early 1988. Ring weighs 3.04 LBS, It sounds as good as any later Rich era banjo. Spikes at 7th,9th and the 11th frets, its in excellent condition with no repairs it does have some patina to the metal and some normal finish wear.
